Republic Capitol Ship, Senior Concept Artist Ryan Dening

We got a second video this week!  Developer Dispatch, “Designing the Light Side,” features interviews with writers and artists as they discuss the choices made for Jedi Knight and Consular in appearance, gear design, visual combat effects, and more.  And yes, the male Jedi Consular looks even more amusing than the female in that funky headgear!  Please oh please may we have Show/Don’t Show Helm option.

Another Fan Friday spotlights some of our community’s talented artists.  Also, a nice little Developer’s Corner features a step-by-step layout  of how concept art is developed, from the early sketches to a finished piece ready for 3D treatment.  Senior Concept Artist Ryan Dening’s commentary is quite intriguing.

Finally, two polls were thrown up on the official forums: “What is your favorite area of the forums to visit?” and “Which Game Systems section do you find to be the most informative?” Take a moment to visit and give BioWare your input.
