Saint SK-387, Patron Saint of Stormtroopers

Artist Patrick King created a series of Star Wars portraits, “Imperial Saints.” These patron saints of the Empire are painted in the style of religious icons and each picture is accompanied by a short explanation of his martyrdom.  “Icon of Saint EG-750, patron saint of AT-ST drivers,” reads one painting which shows an Imperial driver cradling the vehicle in his arms, ” martyred when his AT-ST was crushed by logs during the Battle of Endor.”  Check out the whole series at Patrick King’s website here.

  1. Yay, we can leave comments! Awesome find!

  2. Ya, I thought these were really neat. A friend of Roxanne’s sent her the link. It is a little weird to think of Darth Vader as the patron saint of anything, though hehe.

  3. Awesome! As a Catholic, I got a good laugh out of this. Thank the Lord, Darth Vader died for our sins. Eh? You see what I did there?

Great fan art. Thanks for posting.
