High-Scale Beta in the End of June, says J. Riccitiello

EA CEO John Riccitiello spoke at the 2011 William & Blair Stock Growth Conference this morning, saying that the testing for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be in “high scale beta” in the end of June.  He also noted that release date will be dependent on the results of that testing.  Full transcript of the call here.

    And here I was thinking my evening got ruined by Doug Creutz’ devastating (and imho dumb) judgement on TOR published on gamesindustry.biz. I mean honestly, who believes analysts would be a good source to comment on gameplay? Anyways, CRR News calmed my nerd rage. Now the next one calling for more innovation in TOR in my presence could actually survive 😉 .
