Serge Tries Not to See Red

Serge from SWTOR-Life joins us to discuss the latest updates and to give a “red zone” perspective on game release. The team comes closer than ever to losing Fact or Fiction. Kathy picks her Advanced Class based on outfits. Roxanne doesn’t understand mail. Serge doesn’t understand junk mail.

FACT OR FICTION: Can you pick out the confirmed fact from the tall tales? This week’s challenge concerns rep grinding, The Lost Suns, and PvP commendations.

  1. Just wanted to share this video with anyone who is interested in checking out the Tatooine video that Serge talks about. The stealth on revive example is near the end of the video, but the whole thing is worth a view if you have not seen it.

  2. Great show! It was awesome to hear Serge’s point of view, as a European gamer and Star Wars fanatic.

  3. thank you ladies for inviting my homeboy Serge on your show. it was very nice to hear you all talk about the issues that are near to our hearts as swtor fans. great episode!

  4. In regards to the whole dying thing.

if you rez by droid, your given 12 seconds of invisibility to run away and find a safe spot.

I assume this is going to happen in open world PVP, to be honest, I dont see people rezzing you in warzones.

  5. I liked your new bumper it was nice.

Also, I don’t think your host challenges need to be any harder. I think they are good enough questions as is. Also, I’m going to feel really sad when one of you finally gets one wrong. It would be like seeing someone get the first or second question wrong in “Who Wants to be a Millionare?”, you end up feeling bad for them.

    Nice show, love listening.

  6. It was great to have Serge on. He said he was really nervous, but I thought he threw himself right into the discussion like a podcasting veteran.

Upon reflection, I guess the 12 second of invisibility after droid rez isn’t too much different from WoW’s rez mechanic. It just sounded funny to me at first hehe.

Haha Cornbread, it’s nice to no you are rooting for us to win Fact or Fiction every week.

  7. The rez droid will take longer each time you die, before it allows you to call it. The video in above comments, with Daniel Erickson talks more about the mechanics of the rez system. Eventually you will need to rez at town and get armor/equipment repaired.
