This week we highlight, Tom Powers, of TOR-Talk.com. We find that Tom had an obsession for Battlefront, survives his hard-core gaming binges on Hot Pockets and has a unique spelling for Corellian Run Radio.

Q: What was your first video game obsession?
A: My first Video Game obsession was probably with Star Wars: Battlefront; but it was more than an obsession…I’d call it a fetish. I couldn’t get enough of it! Every time I saw the box or the game being played on television I would get sexually aroused. It was just that satisfying…until Pandemic went out of business a few years later and Star Wars: Battlefront III was scrapped…Lucas you bastard!
Q: What is your guilty pleasure, snack-wise?
A: I game it up hardcore…that means I need all the energy I can get! Two words…HOT…POCKETS! Hot pockets for the win! They are delicious and they are fattening…that’s why it’s a “guilty” pleasure of mine.
Q: Describe what you did last Sunday afternoon.
A: Last Sunday I was Kroger’s whipping boy. Thank you Carla, Deirdre, and Roxanne for bringing up this terrible memory. For people out there who don’t know what Kroger is? You’re lucky…because Kroger along with Wal-Mart will probably own each and every one of you within the next 10 years, enjoy your freedom while you can because this oligopoly is coming for YOU!
Q: What video game have you not yet played that you know you should?
A: KOTOR! Hands-down KOTOR! I have spent the past year of my life facilitating a fan site community for SW:TOR without playing the very game that made TOR possible! What kind of a person am I? I even read the book “Revan” without the story exposition from KOTOR…I’m slacking; especially since that game looks like it can sexually arouse me too!
Q: What game did you most recently play? Thumbs up or thumbs down?
A: Battlefield III! Thumbs way UP! Hit me up on Xbox Live, my gamer tag is: a Michigander
Get it? So when you get killed it says…”You were killed by a Michigander”…it’s EPIC I know!
Q: What TV show do you watch faithfully and why?
A: Well the first thing that came in mind was “Game of Thrones”, but I spent an entire day to watch that season…so I wasn’t really watching it faithfully…for the record “Game of Thrones” is the best show I’ve ever seen…watch it.
Going back to the original question, I’d say Terra Nova! Why do I watch it faithfully? Because dinosaurs are awesome and so is Stephen Lang, Stephen is just a BAMF! He is also one of the most cheesiest actors in the film industry. Perfect combination? Probably not…
Q: What was the last song you listened to on your iPod?
A: “We Are The People” by Empire of Sun! They’re an Aussie band and boy are they awesome! They’re like a bunch of white Michael Jacksons that are on the fence between soft rock and hip-hop.
Q: What bad habit do you have that you hope no one notices?
A: Is this a trick question? If I don’t want people to notice a bad habit, then why would I say it? This question seems sort of contradictory…thanks again Carla, Deirdre, and Roxanne. You three are nice ladies…but if I had to answer, a bad habit of mine would be becoming too easily uaxeslly desuora yb oidaR nuR nailleroC…

Q: Describe your first Star Wars experience.
A: My first Star Wars Experience was watching Star Wars itself. I was young and naive; so when I finished being captivated by the original trilogy I realized George Lucas had somehow seduced me to give him thousands of dollars throughout my entire life purchasing Star Wars products. That was definitely not a run-on sentence! That was a very long statement…

A: (Imperial Agent) (I can snipe! BOOM Headshot!! Oh no! Now I’m gonna shank you! That’s how it’s done in Detroit…)
