SITH OR JEDI: The Test of the Computer Generated Political Telephone Call

You are just sitting down for dinner and the telephone rings. You answer it only to find that it is a computer generated political message. You know that there is a law that all computer generated calls must allow people to opt out by pressing 9, so you press 9. Nothing happens. You can hung. The following night at about the same time, you get another call from the same political organization. This continues almost daily for the next 3 weeks.

Do you:

  1. Just hang up the phone and go back to eating dinner, not minding the call since it is for the person you will be voting for.
  2. Hang up the phone, go back to eating dinner, and vow not to vote for that person.
  3. Record the time of the call. Call the political organization and complain. Letting the person on the line know that even though that person was your candidate of choice, that you would not be voting for them because of the phone call spam.

  1. Cool show as usual. It’s funny. While I was listening to your podcast, I was reading about the E3 coverage from Darth Hater. It’s confirmed:
-1.3 in PTS on June 6th 2012 (some players are downloading the 1.3 PTS patch right now)
-Transfers in a few weeks (my guess, June 19th 2012)

    <– Happy SWTOR player

  2. I forgot to write this: I noticed that the population displayed in the top left corner is actually wrong. When it says that there’re 15 players on the Fleet, there’re probably around 25-35 players actually. I checked with the Who Search Terms feature. I asked other players and they also confirmed it.
