There might not have been much fan fair for this event, but the most recent Community Cantina had some very interesting reveals. On the flashdrive, given to those in attendance, we got to see our first glimpse of Galactic Stronghold decorations, the first mechanical walker and screenshots of the Tatooine Homestead.

More from the LA Community Cantina after the Jump…

The Tatooine Homestead images are the most impressive to me. As you can see below in the images, the Homestead is fairly large.

The open concept of this housing complex is something that appeals to me. I’m a subscriber and will enjoy the Nar Shaddaa apartment in Early Access, but as soon as the Tatooine Homestead is available for purchase, I will be looking to buy my place in the sand.

Here are a few more images from the event. All images in this article were found on Dulfy’s website.

What do you think of the mechanical walker?

What other types of vehicles would you like to see added to SWTOR?

In Episode #119, I had mentioned about an area just south of Anchorhead. In this area, it seems the line marking the exhaustion zone has been moved. As you can see there is a housing like structure with no NPCs. Having seen the revealed images from the Community Cantina, I was thinking way too small for a Tatooine Homestead.

This appears to be just an empty settlement and not anything to do with Galactic Strongholds, but a nice find for a Dueling Arena or housing for RP. Just don’t wander into the exhaustion zone.

Thanks BioWare for showing us more images of things to come. It would be great to see a walkthrough of one of the Galactic Strongholds and showing us how placement of items works. Showcasing this mechanic would help pass the time until Early Access comes August 19th.

  1. I’m totally bummed I didn’t make it this time, I totally forgot that it was the other night.. next time I guess. :/

On the up side I agree, while nothing earth shattering was revealed they are showing off some pretty rad goodies coming our way! 😀
