HoloNet Links #174
Happy New Year to you. It was an exciting year in 2014 and it is shaping up to be another great year in 2015. I have been enjoying some time off sharing the holiday season with family and friends. Thanks to a couple of gifts, my “studio,” otherwise known as my desk, is getting a make-over. A mic stand and bracket for a second monitor have me ready to start covering SWTOR in 2015!
PVP articles updated, Community Cantina information & more after the Jump…
As 2015 gets started, what kind of changes do we think will be coming to SWTOR? Looking back on 2014, there were several things that have definitely changed how I play SWTOR. The biggest, at least for me, would have to be Galactic Strongholds. This has become more than a place to decorate, but it is a “stronghold.” I utilize the benefit of the instant travel feature to drop off items in my cargo hold and/or legacy bank and not to mention harvesting resources from certain items I have placed. That feature has been the best thing from 2014, at least for me. What would you say was your favorite feature from 2014? Looking forward, what is something you would like to see added to the game in 2015? Let us know the answers to both of these questions in the comment section below.
- PVP Gear articles Updated
Drew aka Geldarion has come back to help out with some PVP issues. He has already updated two of his Tactical Strike articles about PVP gear. Yes, in light of some changes since 3.0, Drew has gone back through Tactical Strike: Obtaining PVP Gear – Part 1, and Tactical Strike: Obtaining PVP Gear – Part 2. Thanks Drew for helping out the PVP community again.
Oh, I also have it on good authority that Drew might be stopping by on a couple podcasts. If you happen to have any PVP related questions please let us know and we will pass them along to Drew.

- SWTOR video
This week we showcase a fan created video by YouTube user Forest Moriaty entitled Tale of Two Jedi. This is a different type of video. This creation was created in SWTOR utilizing emotes and some clever editing techniques, utilizing software for lip synching. The best part of this video is it is a completely unique story. The ones responsible for the story, voice acting and in-game combat have created their own story. The combination of music, setting and story bring the role-play story to life and share it with the rest of the SWTOR community. Personally, I would love to see the story continue with future installments. What did you think of the SWTOR RP video? Let us know in the comment section.
