At last the declared ruler of the galaxy, the Sith Empire has come a long way from its early days of Dark Jedi exile. Suffering repeated defeat in their attempts to take over the Galactic Republic, the Sith were finally victorious with their intricately-coordinated attacks on several star systems under Republic control. These military successes of The Great War — including the devastating strike on the city planet of Coruscant, the home of the Galactic Senate and the Jedi Temple – led to the harsh terms of the Treaty of Coruscant. Driven by cruelty and hate, the Sith know that only through hardship and survival of the most bitter suffering can one rise above the inferior and complete one’s destiny.
