Today we introduce our new weekly column, CRR HoloScan. Each week we will spotlight a member of the SWTOR community and get him or her to answer ten slightly off-the-beaten-path questions. Feel free to answer the questions yourself in the Comments section!

This week Lethality from Ask A Jedi submitted his CRR HoloScan report and we find out he is a football fan and a pizza snob.

Q: What was your first video game obsession?
A: I’m gonna have to date myself a bit with this one, but I would have to say Enchanter, which was one of the classic text adventures from Infocom (makers of Zork!) That was not just my first video game obsession, but I believe my first understanding that these games could provide virtual worlds in which I could play! Then, Ultima was an absolute classic and my intro to RPGs. After that, I would say the King’s Quest series from Sierra – all played on my Apple IIe, of course!

The Unpodcast! Photo by David Moore from TORWars

TORWars invited Kathy and Carla to participate in their Unpodcast at the Fansite Summit earlier this week. Also attending were Lethality from Ask A Jedi and Jaro from Fragworld. We were still stoked about the open-world PvP reveals on Ilum and that’s pretty much all we talked about. Oh, that and launch legs.

Head on over to TORWars to listen to the full unpodcast.

Looking for a little extra CRR? Well, you’re in luck because we have appeared on a couple other SWTOR podcasts recently.

At PAX Prime, TOROcast hosted a multi-site podcast. Roxanne, Carla, and Kathy sat in with hosts from Darth Hater, Ask A Jedi, and TOROcast. You can listen to us talk about our PAX experiences here.

Kathy and Carla enjoyed a nice SWTOR-themed meal at Sunny’s Diner. If you haven’t checked out these guys, here’s your chance. Sunny and Rad keep things rolling along with their brisk-paced show that focuses on the casual gamer perspective. Listen to the podcast here.

Carla, Kathy, and Roxanne are back from PAX and full of stories and opinions about what we learned.

FACT OR FICTION: Can you pick out the confirmed fact from the tall tales?  This week’s host challenge involves PvP.

The Journey Begins
Awaking at the crack of dawn has never been my thing, but it’s PAX, so I do it. Why the heck is it still dark outside? This confuses me.

At airport security, I get my first-ever chance to take a stand on the issue of body scanners, but I find that I have no moral rectitude this early sans caffeine, so I meekly subject myself to the scanning process — no complaints about the ratio of cost vs. actual security, no objections to invasion of privacy or the difference between a suspect with probable cause and some poor shmuck who just needs to get somewhere via airplane. I plant my feet in the outlines on the floor and raise my hands over my head, palms forward. I am “participating in security,” as one of the signs says.
