It has been another crazy week, but one thing has improved the week…the Corellian Run Radio podcast is back! We have no confirmation on this, but I believe the Rakghoul Plague is to be blamed on getting to Carla’s hard drive. While we our speaking about podcasts, two former community podcasters – Eric Musco and Brooks Guthrie, have released the official Star Wars: The Old Republic podcast. BioWare’s Official PAX East Video

BioWare made good on its promise to provide footage from PAX East with a short video, “PAX East 2011 Highlight Video.” This highlights reel features scenes of fans rushing to the SWTOR booth, fans standing in line and talking about their experience, clips of Daniel Erickson and Stephen Reid, lots of crowd reaction shots. With Star Wars music pumping in the background, the video captures the excitement of being at PAX East.

Mos Eisley Radio’s Brooks Guthrie Hired by BioWare

Today Brooks Guthrie, one of the hosts of the popular podcast Mos Eisley Radio, starts his new job as audio editor for the team that produces the SWTOR videos at BioWare Austin. While this is sad news for those who have enjoyed listening to Brooks and Zach shoot the breeze over that rickety card table and in Brooks’ grandmother’s creaky chair, it is of course a dream come true for one of the nicest guys in the podcast community and we wish him bucketloads of best wishes.

In MER’s most recent podcast and on a forums post, Brooks made it clear that Mos Eisley Radio and Open Bounty will continue to deliver the same great content with Zach Brown and a new host, as yet unannounced.

Fun fact: Brooks sits next to Brandon Miletta, formerly of TOROcast.
