EA’s digital download store, Origin, will start carrying games from independent publishers. In their most recent financial report, they announced a partnership with Warner Brothers Interactive, Capcom, and THQ. This marks the first time games outside the EA umbrella will be sold through their new digital download service. This move puts Origin in direct competition with Steam, currently the leader in digital games sales.
