If you don’t know by now and I’m sure you do, but if you have not heard Bioware is getting ready for the official of a small little game, called Star Wars: The Old Republic. Early game access started this past Tuesday the 13th of December, for those that pre-ordered the game. Each day they have been sending out emails letting players know when they can begin their saga. In dev notes, we will look at some news concerning this, more servers and also get into other news in the SWTOR community. For instance, one guild is holding a little 1v1 dueling tournament…& yes you have to read to find out more 😉

Stephen Reid on Early Game Access concerns

Stephen Reid, the Senior Online Community Manager for Star Wars The Old Republic, addressed an article by Shacknews, concerning a staggered launch. In the article, Shacknews talks about not everyone who pre-ordered will get in at launch. Stephen Reid stated in his reply to the article…

Shacknews apparently got confused, and they’re confusing you, so allow me to clarify. Nothing has actually changed since we announced pre-order access in July.

Everyone who pre-orders Star Wars: The Old Republic and redeems their pre-order code will get Early Game Access. Those who do this will be able to download the game client and play the game ahead of the release date.
