If I feel like the Bioware has been jumping from one convention to the next in the last couple months, I can only imagine how it is for the developers – particularly the ones who seem to be at all of the conventions. We already have another con upon us: Eurogamer Expo 2011 in London, September 22 to 25. Bioware promises hands-on gameplay of the Origin Worlds and some PvP. In addition to the details on the expo, we also have a new Studio Insider and this month’s Community Q&A.

Corellian Runners, we have quite an update today. In addition to the obligatory PAX Highlights video, Senior Writer Alexander Freed explains the goals and strengths of writing in the Star Wars universe. If Developer Dispatches aren’t your thing, we are now gifted with the Progression video for the Smuggler, whose groin-kicking feats of awesomeness shall be sung for millenia. PAX Prime is starting up and so far no new reveals, but the convention is just starting. Bioware did provide us with this week’s Friday Update. Dallas Dickinson gives us a developer walkthrough of the beginning to the Eternity Vault.

Sometimes you grow tired of murdering people for the sake of the Republic or Empire. Sometimes you need a change of pace. Sometimes you want to murder people while playing sports, for fun and games! That’s why we have a new Warzone announced at GamesCom called Huttball, and a new Huttball trailer was just posted by Bioware. If you imagine what it would be like to play (American) Football if it was run my the Hutts, you have a pretty good idea of how it plays: get the ball across your opponents’ line while everyone tries to kill each other.
