Class Quests: What EA President Probably Meant by Two Hundred Hours Per Class

In an interview over at gameindustry.biz, EA President Frank Gibeau said the following about The Old Republic:

You look at a game that has 200 hours of gameplay for each of the six classes, and that doesn’t include the crafting, the raids, the multiplayer. It’s vast. It’s a gigantic game.”

G4’s Attack of the Show interviewed George Lucas and Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald about the new Star Tours attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.  The new ride features multiple story elements which Lucas says makes Star Tours not merely one ride, but “fifty different rides.”  Fitzgerald likens it to a “storytelling slot machine.”

As expected, BioWare chose Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 as the forum for some major announcements to get SWTOR fans revved up.  Here’s a quick recap of the highlights:

Player Starships! Oboy!  Developers call them our “base of operations.”  Our ship will be a place to socialize, a place our companion characters will live when we’re not dragging them around the galaxy, a way for our groups to travel together.  Plus, they’re really BIG inside!  Check out the official video here.
