E3: Group Play on Alderaan

Daniel Erickson sat down with Gamespot and showed a gameplay demo of grouping in Alderaan. Daniel wanted to emphasize that there are group play opportunities outside flashpoints and raids/operations. The boss fight depicted in this video shows some fairly complicated group coordination needed to defeat the enemies. There are even some puzzle aspects to the encounter. Watch the full video for plenty of in-game footage.

E3: SWTOR Live Coverage

UPDATE 2: BioWare Pulse will broadcast a live boss fight Wednesday at 3 pm PDT. On Thursday they will broadcast a Q&A session at 9 am PDT. Watch that and other E3-related BioWare news here.

UPDATE: The time for Wednesday’s G4TV live coverage was incorrect. Check them out from 3 pm to 6 pm PDT for coverage of several games, including SWTOR.

E3 is closed to the general public, but there will be plenty of live coverage coming from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Here are a few events SWTOR fans won’t want to miss:

Live EA Press Conference Today

EA Games is kicking off E3 a day early with a live press conference today at 12:30 pm PDT/3:30 EDT. They are expected to talk about their three much-anticipated titles, Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
