NYCC: Fansite Face-Off

Roxy is excited for PvP even if Kathy is not

After the two major panels on Friday, we thought the rest of the weekend might be a bit of a let-down. Then we remembered the Fansite Face-Off.

Three days earlier, BioWare Official Meet and Greet: a perfectly innocent-looking fellow introduces himself as Damien, or virtek from the CRR forums. He is very nice and friendly and we chat about the game and general community stuff and something about getting the fansites together.

NYCC: CRR on TORWars

Kathy and Roxanne had the pleasure of guesting on a special New York Comic Con edition of TORWars. Immediately following the Saturday Q&A session by MMORPG.com, we followed TORWars‘ Jeff and Deirdre Hollis and Justin of Jen’Jidai and Fragworld into a secret room in the convention hall for a little post-panel discussion. We only had to shoo one person away — sorry whoever you are, we didn’t mean to glare so violently! — and had a great time talking about what we learned that day: dungeon finders, heroic flashpoints, little boys with romance on their minds, and more.

BioWare’s Official PAX East Video

BioWare made good on its promise to provide footage from PAX East with a short video, “PAX East 2011 Highlight Video.” This highlights reel features scenes of fans rushing to the SWTOR booth, fans standing in line and talking about their experience, clips of Daniel Erickson and Stephen Reid, lots of crowd reaction shots. With Star Wars music pumping in the background, the video captures the excitement of being at PAX East.
