It has been pretty hectic in the gaming world lately. Several games have either released or have been running beta testing. Star Wars: The Old Republic is no exception. Beginning today, Thursday, May 17th at 12am CDT and lasting till Monday, May 21st at 2am CDT Bioware is having a Weekend Pass to try the game. This time around players can play through till level 15. That means you will be able to see the starting planets as well as each faction’s capital planet. Bioware is also saving any characters you create to the account you use, so if you decide to purchase a subscription you won’t have to start over.   • Skyhound Adepts – Galactic Republic

Many of us know the phrase, “strength in numbers,” but is the strength actually the numbers or the type of people that make the numbers? This week’s guild has a definite strength and they are a close knit group, but it is not from their numbers. The Skyhound Adepts is a smaller guild and might not even be one people would notice. I have to say that in the short time I have been in their forums, emailed, and replied to members the more I understood that their “strength in numbers” comes from the quality of the people that make up those numbers.

It has been another crazy week, but one thing has improved the week…the Corellian Run Radio podcast is back! We have no confirmation on this, but I believe the Rakghoul Plague is to be blamed on getting to Carla’s hard drive.   • Demonic Sith Lords – Sith Empire

Through this article and website, I have had the great privilege of meeting some amazing guilds, full of creative and talented folks all with one thing in common…enjoying Star Wars: The Old Republic. This week is no exception. Dugra, an officer in the Demonic Sith Lords, emailed me about highlighting their guild. I have to admit, seeing the word demonic in the name had me raise an eyebrow. However, I went about checking out their guild and they are really a great bunch of folks…even if they are the anti-“fluffy” named guild. As we will find out they love playing this game and having fun, especially when they are extinguishing those on the light side.

Have you seen this Jedi Master?

The Jedi Master was last spotted prior to Patch 1.2 and Rakghoul Outbreak. This reporter went in search and started at the Jedi Temple on Tython. After surveying the on-going struggle with the Flesh Raiders, I made my way to the Jedi Temple. Everyone seemed to be going about their business as usual. I was told to meet the very Jedi Master, Master Muheeda, I was seeking to receive training. Upon reaching the upper level of the temple and making my way to the Holocron Library, I saw Master Muheeda…or was it?
