Cory Butler took a few minutes to talk to us about his job as Live Producer, SWTOR at PAX East, and game testing.  Our quick-fire round confirmed that there are still a lot of subjects that BioWare is NOT talking about, but it was fun anyway.  We also ask Cory to take our Sith or Jedi Test of the Elevator Doors.

It should be noted that Cory says “yes” to companions in flashpoints.  James Ohlen has stated that they are leaning towards not having companions in flashpoints and endgame.  This issue seems to be in flux right now and is probably being tested as we write, which probably accounts for Cory’s response.

How many podcast hosts can you jam into one room for a megacast of TOR-awesomeness?  Quite a few, it turns out.  Mos Eisley Radio turned their hotel room into a recording studio and invited guests from Ask A Jedi,  Corellian Run Radio, Darth Hater, Torocast, and TOR Syndicate to talk about PAX East and Taral V.  It was loads of fun.

Grab the podcast here.  Enjoy!

If you’ve been following the many PAX East updates from many other terrific sites, you won’t see anything new here, but we thought it might be useful to list a handful of the mini-reveals that we thought were most interesting.

Epic Drops from PAX East 2011

Roxanne and Kathy are back from PAX East and full of gameplay impressions and stories about talking with the BioWare crew and SWTOR fans.  Rather than do our usual format, the two of us just sat in front of our mics and told Carla everything that happened during that wild, wonderful weekend.  Like, starting from, “We got into our car…..”  Hope you enjoy stories about getting lost in Boston! In line for official Meet & Greet. Pic by HereticZero

Roxanne and Kathy made it home from PAX East and they are BEAT.  It was an amazing adventure of driving, navigating the streets of Boston, meeting so many other SWTOR fans, meeting the many amazing and gracious BioWare developers, community managers, etc.  We got formal interviews with Daniel Erickson, James Ohlen, Hall Hood, and Cory Butler.  We also taped some interviews with some terrific fans, some of whom spent the whole weekend standing in line to play SWTOR.  We will be working hard to get all those up on the site as the week goes on.
