  • Clan Epsis – Sith Empire

This past week I had the great privilege of getting to meet another guild from the Jung Ma server. This time it was an officer from Clan Epsis that contacted me. A’shrak met me at a local cantina or I should say almost appeared from the shadows. Being a sniper for Clan Epsis, one cannot be too careful. I greeted him in Mando’a “Su cuy’gar.” He laughed a bit, “Yes, I am still alive and hello to you also.” He then offered me a drink. It was a black looking ale, called ne’tra gal in Mando’a. I took a taste of it. “Now, that is how you say hello,” A’shrak said. With that, I proceeded to learn more about the casual RP guild known as Clan Epsis.

We see how the guild got started, their ceremonies & bounty system after the Jump…

  • Penumbral – Sith Empire

It is time to look at another guild among the SWTOR Community. This week I was contacted by the guild leader of Penumbral, Luniara. She was quite convincing, her lightsaber and Force powers also added to the “benefit” of listening to her guild’s story. Upon hearing the story behind their group of followers, it truly was a remarkable story. Could it be that both the Lightside and Darkside are corrupt, along with the Republic and Empire? That possibly this group called Penumbral, which according Encarta North American Dictionary means “the area between complete darkness and complete light,” might be the answer for the galaxy?

Learn how they got started, why fun is so important & more after the Jump…

  • House Koriaya – Sith Empire

Growing up my friends and I would pretend to be comic book characters. However, before we could get started there always was the debate on who would be the “bad guy” or “villain.” Although, not everyone was happy when we started playing, but none of us would have had any fun without someone being the nemesis to the hero. The same holds true in movies, books, and video games like SWTOR. In fact, the very idea you can play on Empire side or the “bad guys” is what got today’s guild started. Lisen’tia, guild leader of House Koriaya, took time to share her “evil” thoughts on the matter of RP and why being bad is good in their guild.

We get our “evil” Sith on with House Koriaya on after the Jump…

  • Masters of the Hunt – Sith Empire

On vacation we stayed in a cabin-like lodge, although we were in more plush surroundings, the idea of this week’s guild, based upon the Wookiee traditions of the hunt, entered my thoughts. A dimly lit room filled with some of the galaxy’s toughest and deadliest bounty hunters. They are ready to do whatever needs to be done in order to complete a contract, but these particular bounty hunters live by a code of the hunt established by the Wookiees. We get to meet this guild of hunters known as the Masters of the Hunt. I had the great chance to interview their guildmaster Synriss. From her we will learn more about the guild and their RP philosophy.

We talk with Synriss about Masters of the Hunt guild after the Jump…

  • Beacon of Hope

This week we are proud to welcome the guild, Beacon of Hope. Through some research I came across this guild and had the privilege of corresponding with their GM, Aylyai. Beacon of Hope is an RP guild. Like most RP guilds they like to be creative with their background stories for characters, guild events and even training. Beacon of Hope does these things and in fact we will learn about their Training Corps events and how they utilize them to pass along lore, RP and also use this training to help with actual gameplay. It’s time to get to the Q&A on Beacon of Hope.

Let’s get to know Beacon of Hope & some RP tips after the Jump…
