Welcome once again to your weekly dose of Force Lore, where we explore the who, what, when, and why of the Star Wars Universe and how it ties in with Star Wars: The Old Republic.  Thank you to all of you that have been supporting of the column and all of the hard workers here at Corellian Run Radio.

Last week we started looking at the Jedi and the Sith, with how their ideologies and organizations either parallel each other or are mirror opposites of each other.  Part one examined the Jedi and now today we’ll be looking at the Sith.  And what perfect timing!  Fans of the cartoon series The Clone Wars™ on Cartoon Network™ had a nice surprise on the season finale this weekend with the return of one of The Phantom Menace’s most under-rated villains, Darth Maul.  It’s a perfect prelude for this week’s column.  Set your navicomputer and follow me in after the jump!

The Sith Inquirer snagged an interview with Daniel Erickson in an all-Sith Inquisitor discussion. A great read with some nice reveals, including the fact that Teneb Kel from Alexander Freed’s Blood of the Empire comics will play an important part in the Sith Inquisitor storyline. Also, Daniel tells us that the voice actors for the Sith Inquisitor are Euan Morton and Xanthe Elbrick. Full interview here.

Comments after the jump. Continue reading »

Story That Will Not Be Silenced

Discuss this episode on the forums here.

We’re back to our regular format this week with Carla, Kathy, and Roxanne.  We also invited the fellows from TORWars, Jeff Hollis and David Moore, just because they are fun.  The five of us debate Datacrons and the bolster system, plus we venture into release date speculation.  Jeff and David have to leave after the Newsnet segment, which is good because Roxanne gets very, um,  “excited” when we talk about skipping story in BioWare games.  Somehow she manages to bring Silence of the Lambs into the conversation.

FACT OR FICTION: Can you pick out the confirmed fact from the tall tales?  This week’s host challenge involves Khem Val, the Codex, and auto-facing. Continue reading »

Yesterday Gamespot debuted the new Sith Inquisitor video.  Today we were introduced to companion Khem Val, an ancient, force-resistant Dashade who has fed off thousands of Jedi in the service of his master, Tulak Hord, a powerful Dark Lord.  Khem Val is now held in stasis deep in the tomb of Naga Sadow on Korriban.  So far no one has been brave enough to awaken this Dashade – his hunger will make him very dangerous indeed.  Can you say, “Companion Quest?”

Sith Inqusitiors will fly the Fury-Class Imperial Interceptor, the same ship to be used by the Sith Warrior class.
