Wish you could check out the starships or planets on your own, more than what you see in videos? Well folks now you can, with the help of the Unity Web Player. On Star Wars: The Old Republic website there is a new interactive galaxy map that allows you to explore the known planets and where they are in relation to each other.

The Smuggler class got a lotta love this week with a bonanza of Smuggler-related updates, including the Machinima video that was released last week. First up, the two Advanced Class specializations, Gunslinger and Scoundrel, have been added to the Holonet. Next, BioWare suggests you might want to play a Twi’lek Smuggler, officially adding our brain-tailed friends to the list of playable species. Continue reading »
Some space combat paragraphs and pictures were released in today’s Friday Update in the form of a new Space Combat page on their new Systems page. It’s definitely nice to see the official site being updated, no argument! Still, we’re hoping that since this update is relatively light that we might be showered with some big reveals at PAX, which started today. *Crosses fingers.
