Companions

Companions will be essential to your character’s storyline and progression.  Not just a stock npc that will blindly do your bidding, the companions promise to be an integral part of your storyline and progression.  Each class will have unique companions and will build a bench of  cohorts.  Depending on the job, you will be able to select the appropriate companion.  Your interactions with the companion will shape their attitude toward you and the gear you choose to give them will shape their behavior in combat.  Companions will voice their opinions in situations and will give you quests.
