Gamasutra posted their lengthy interview with the BioWare doctors, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. During this conversation the Doctors touch on the BioWare culture, SWTOR, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. Some highlights:
- BioWare is always looking for ways to enter new markets, to reach new people and new devices such as the iPad.
- Dragon Age Legends is BioWare first foray into the world of social gaming.
- Taking the long view. Zeschuk says, “It’s very different than, I think, what the traditional boxed product view is these days, which is your first two months it everything, right? Our first two years is just the beginning.”
- SWTOR ruins you for other MMOs. Muzyka says, “The reaction that we’ve had, and a lot of people playing it have had…is that, frankly, once you’ve tried it, you just can’t go back.”
