High-Scale Beta in the End of June, says J. Riccitiello

EA CEO John Riccitiello spoke at the 2011 William & Blair Stock Growth Conference this morning, saying that the testing for Star Wars: The Old Republic will be in “high scale beta” in the end of June.  He also noted that release date will be dependent on the results of that testing.  Full transcript of the call here.

E3: SWTOR Live Coverage

UPDATE 2: BioWare Pulse will broadcast a live boss fight Wednesday at 3 pm PDT.  On Thursday they will broadcast a Q&A session at 9 am PDT.  Watch that and other E3-related BioWare news here.

UPDATE: The time for Wednesday’s G4TV live coverage was incorrect.  Check them out from 3 pm to 6 pm PDT for coverage of several games, including SWTOR.

E3 is closed to the general public, but there will be plenty of live coverage coming from the Los Angeles Convention Center.  Here are a few events SWTOR fans won’t want to miss:

The third SWTOR trailer from Blur Studios!  Worth the wait….

Things on the ancient Sith homeworld of Korriban are about to change. Sith have returned.

Origin has a trailer, “Choose,” on their site.  It’s a mash-up of the previous Blur trailers, but is edited differently and has a new narration featuring Jennifer Hale as the voice of Satele Shan.
