They’re Baaaack: Testing Weekend Oct 7-10

Testing invites have been going out, fast and furious, BioWare tells us in a stealth update to the official SWTOR site today. But wait, there’s more! BioWare is getting ready for their second Beta Testing Weekend, so be sure to check your emails (don’t forget your spam folder!) to see if you have been invited to this weekend’s testing extravaganza, October 7-10. At the time of this article, Stephen had already posted that all weekend #2 testing invites had gone out.

Beware of Testing Scams

It’s time once again to remind everyone that there is only one valid way to get an invite to testing in SWTOR and that is by registering on the official site and waiting for an official invite. Stephen Reid popped onto the forums today to advise people that BioWare has not officially partnered with any other websites to give out testing invites.

If you think you have received an official invite from BioWare, the safest thing to do is: DO NOT CLICK ON ANY LINKS. Simply go to www.swtor.com/tester and log in in with your official SWTOR account. If you have been invited, you will be allowed to log into that page. Easy and safe!
