The Ghosts – a multi-faction guild

Even though Halloween has come and gone for this year there are still “Ghosts” around here. Now I’m not talking about those ectoplasm apparitions that go bump or scream BOO, the Ghosts we are looking at are one of the guilds in Star Wars: The Old Republic. We will meet their guild leader Fireshadow and learn how this multi-faction and multi-game guild got started and manages to keep their close knit feel even with hundreds of members. Members in the guild also tell us what they enjoy about the game and what they think could use some improvements.

There are many guilds I have had the great privilege of meeting through this article. Many of them promote a family or team atmosphere. This week’s guild takes that even to the next step. While other guilds have a family feel in the game or surrounding it, how many of them know each other on a first name basis or plan real world events to spend time together…not many. This is exactly one of the things the Outer Rim Templars strives to do.

This past week has been a very interesting week in the world of SWTOR. From some typical forum uproars to new fears, concerns etc. over the first bit of real details about BioWare’s Free-to-Play option coming, seemingly sooner than later. On the 23rd of October, BioWare brought the Public Test Server back up to have players get their first look and help test the new Cartel Market. After players on PTS got a quick glimpse, for about a day and then they brought it down for the next phase that started yesterday.
