  • Defenders of The Faith – Galactic Republic

This week we get introduced to the guild, Defenders of The Faith. We will talk to their guild master, Velox and learn how they got their start, what their focus is on in SWTOR and we will even get to learn about some of their “unique” events (Cliff Jump anyone?). Just as diverse as the community itself, this guild has its own way of doing things, their own set of goals and rules, but yet their main focus is having fun!

More about Defenders of The Faith from their leader Velox after the Jump…

This is NOT the computer tech you are looking for...

Star Wars: the Old Republic first in-game event has ended, although vendors still carry plenty of supplies serum for any remaining cases of the Rakghoul infection. Now sources are trying figure out if the Rakghoul infection somehow is responsible for Carla’s computer issues, but that’s another case altogether. So what was your take on the Rakghoul event? • Serenity – Galactic Republic

Meanings of words can be found in dictionaries, manuals or similar sources, but they can also be derived from association to a given feeling, memory or other personal experiences. Take for instance the name of this week’s guild, Serenity, it probably already has given you several different thoughts on the word. For me it happens to be a peaceful feeling and a particular starship. We will look at how the guild Serenity got its name, but more importantly how it allows them to keep a “peaceful” feeling in the guild while being highly competitive.

More on Serenity’s strong drive in Progression & ganking Imps after the Jump…

James had made it clear in his post, that this feature is something that they want to get finished and implemented into the game. His question is as follows:

What part of a Group Finder feature is most important to you? Is it forming a group for Operations, for Flashpoints, for Heroics, for something else – or do you have no preference?

Like his past questions the linked thread has a poll to vote on which option of a LFG feature do you feel is most important.

The LFG poll thread, SWTOR Community Spotlight & Jedi Ninjas after the Jump…

  • Cabal – Galactic Republic guild

Is it the destination or the journey that is the best part of a trip, game etc.? In this day and age of need it now, it sometimes is hard to relax and enjoy the journey. This week’s guild, Cabal strives to do just that by focusing on having fun and being social. Do they still take down Flashpoints, thrive in Warzones and eliminate bosses in Operations…yes! They just choose to enjoy the journey, even bringing back the nostalgia ideas of pen and paper days of role-playing games.

More about Cabal, as we meet their GM Naira after the Jump…
