Serge Tries Not to See Red

Serge from SWTOR-Life joins us to discuss the latest updates and to give a “red zone” perspective on game release. The team comes closer than ever to losing Fact or Fiction. Kathy picks her Advanced Class based on outfits. Roxanne doesn’t understand mail. Serge doesn’t understand junk mail.

FACT OR FICTION: Can you pick out the confirmed fact from the tall tales? This week’s challenge concerns rep grinding, The Lost Suns, and PvP commendations.

Corellian Runners, we have quite an update today. In addition to the obligatory PAX Highlights video, Senior Writer Alexander Freed explains the goals and strengths of writing in the Star Wars universe. If Developer Dispatches aren’t your thing, we are now gifted with the Progression video for the Smuggler, whose groin-kicking feats of awesomeness shall be sung for millenia. Let’s start the update there, shall we?

This has nothing at all to do with SWTOR, but Kathy and Roxanne attended this panel on the process of voice acting for Irrational Games’ upcoming BioSchock Infinite and really enjoyed it. We thought some of our fans might enjoy it too. G4TV posted the video, which includes footage from the game. The panel was moderated by Adam Sessler, with Ken Levine (Lead Director, Irrational Games), Troy Baker (voice of Booker DeWitt), and Courtnee Draper (voice of Elizabeth).

Looking for a little extra CRR? Well, you’re in luck because we have appeared on a couple other SWTOR podcasts recently.

At PAX Prime, TOROcast hosted a multi-site podcast. Roxanne, Carla, and Kathy sat in with hosts from Darth Hater, Ask A Jedi, and TOROcast. You can listen to us talk about our PAX experiences here.

Kathy and Carla enjoyed a nice SWTOR-themed meal at Sunny’s Diner. If you haven’t checked out these guys, here’s your chance. Sunny and Rad keep things rolling along with their brisk-paced show that focuses on the casual gamer perspective. Listen to the podcast here.
