It’s Wednesday.  Hello to all the CRR readers out there.  Welcome to Force Lore, your weekly dose of the who’s, the what’s, the when’s, and the why’s of the Star Wars Universe… Especially when it comes to anything dealing with the awesome MMO, The Old Republic.  In essence, we’re trying to be an out-of-game extension of the Datacrons found in-game.

This week, we’re looking at the last of the starting planets for the different classes found within Star Wars: The Old Republic.  Last, but not least, is the world of Nal Hutta, or as it’s known in the game, Hutta.  This is the starting area for the Imperial Agent and the Bounty Hunter, two of the classes for the Sith Empire.

I’m not going to lie.  I have procrastinated with this article all week long.  Partially because I’ve been enjoying the awesome weather that’s been abundant this last couple weeks.  But also because I’ve been working on custom content and writing for another project I have with my friend.  As my friend’s wife says to him, the same may apply to me: I only have enough room in the playroom in my head for so many toys at one time.  But, without further ado, let’s check out the biggest mobster planet in the game.  Follow me in after the jump!

But mostly, this is quite boring to the average SWTOR fan.

We make bets about early game access. We try to avoid talk about the dramacast. We debate movie-watching commitments.

FACT OR FICTION: Can you pick out the confirmed fact from the tall tales? This week’s challenge concerns cover, guild pre-launch, the pre-order offer code.

More Show Notes and Comments after the jump. Continue reading »

I sat staring at my computer screen to see the icon of this adorable Chiss female Imperial Agent.  I was like, WOW, that was a great looking character that had been selected for me to play.  Actually, it was for either me or Kathy, but we talked ahead of time about what we wanted to try out and I selected the imperial agent. My character had short hair and looked like she had lots of secrets. Continue reading »

Smooth Criminal Haz Orbital Bombardment

Praise the Friday Update gods, they brought us to the Promised Land!  After a dry season of no gameplay information, BioWare said unto its fans, “Have faith and you shall have your fill.”  But the people hardened their hearts and they cried out into cyberspace, the void of which is terrible deep, magnifying the clatter of voices in endless echoes of dissatisfaction.  And lo, just when the night’s gloom was unpierced even by the tiniest spark of hope and most silent, a light blazed across the horizon, and broke the spine of the dark, whining beast.  “Behold,” said BioWare, “We bring you glad tidings of great joy!  We give you the Imperial Agent, the smoothest of all criminals!  We give you PvP and Crafting!  We’ll even let you change that Advanced Class name you hated so much.”

And the beast retreated into its place of lurking and the fans were mollified.  For now. Continue reading »
