HoloNet Links #27

This is the first HoloNet Links of the New Year! I hope all of you have a great year, especially a great year in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Today, we have a lot of great links and info about the game and news from folks like James Olhen, Gabe Amatangelo and Greg Zoeller. They cover PVP future ideas/fixes/level 50 brackets; also cover their commitment to fixing bugs in general, and also confirmation of a rare crystal 😉

HoloNet Links #26

By now many of you have been playing SWTOR and hopefully having as much fun as I have had so far. Despite a few minor issues with downtime for an extended maintenance, thus far, this has been a very smooth launch for such a huge game. Yes, there are still bugs and some issues needing to be patched, but all in all I feel it has gone well. What has your experience been like?

A reminder, CRR is having a contest! Create a character profile and you might just win a Razer peripheral. Make sure to read all the details here and get your submissions emailed by Jan 1st, 2012 at 11:59pm CST. There is only one entry per person. Lots more in today’s HoloNet Links after the Jump.

New Year’s Day Datacron Crawl, Reddit’s Q&A with Stephen Reid and much more…

HoloNet Links #25

We all may express our beliefs in different ways, but I would ask that everyone please keep your thoughts and prayers on those who are sick, having hardships, or have lost a friend or loved one. It is easy to forget about those things in the virtual game worlds or our day-to-day grind, but take a moment to remember, because nobody knows what the next moment will bring. “Today is a Gift, that is why it is called the Present.”

Today’s HoloNet Links is written with a heavy heart for a dear friend of mine. However, knowing him, he would say I was using this as an excuse and to just get it done…so on with the links. The first part focuses on what you need to do to keep playing Star Wars: the Old Republic. We will also look at what is going on in the community, but for now sit back and get ready to make the Jump.

More on what steps to do to keep playing, & much more after the Jump… Continue reading »

HoloNet Links #24

If you don’t know by now and I’m sure you do, but if you have not heard Bioware is getting ready for the official of a small little game, called Star Wars: The Old Republic. Early game access started this past Tuesday the 13th of December, for those that pre-ordered the game. Each day they have been sending out emails letting players know when they can begin their saga. In dev notes, we will look at some news concerning this, more servers and also get into other news in the SWTOR community. For instance, one guild is holding a little 1v1 dueling tournament…& yes you have to read to find out more 😉

More about 1v1 dueling tournament, dev notes, & much more after the Jump…

Kudos to BioWare!   So far, early access has been running smoothly.   The swtor.com forums are all buzzing about how upset people are about not getting in early access yet, but those people need to be patient.   BioWare is doing exactly what they said they would do by granting access based on when your preorder code was entered on your account.  Continue reading »
